Greetings travelers and returning veterans! It is time to recruit interested writers - beginning, novice, & mature writers welcome!
"Breaking Dawn" is a temporary title. Authors, feel free to suggest new titles as the roleplay progresses.
PREREQUISITES
1. You must register as the member of this forum with a valid email & birthday (you have the option after registration to 'hide' these from other members)
2. Reply to this message. Include any writing and/or RPG experience you've had.
3. Read the Rules & Regulations
4. If you have any questions, you are welcome to IM me privately and I will get back to you shortly.
If you are ready, copy the 'Character Format' at the end of the rules & regulations. Return to the sub-menu featuring all current roleplays and click on "Breaking Dawn." Paste and complete your Character Profile under the 'Character Profile' thread.
5. Each character profile must be approved by me. I may make a few suggestions, especially if you are a newbie writer who asks for some friendly help. Then again, I may approve without making any suggestions at all.
DEADLINE (to complete these steps and have your character approved) TO BE ANNOUNCED
ROLE PLAYING will begin March/April
AUTHOR REQUIREMENTS
+ Try logging in at least once a day to catch up on the story, and post if necessary. Keep the story going!
+ Put some thought into each entry. Neither your character or your ideas will stand out in the story if all you are posting are one-liners.
+ Be mindful of each other's posts and their own characters' developments. Do not take a drastic turn if the story is going elsewhere...unless, of course, that's just how your character is. Stay in character. If you feel that an aspect of the storytelling is lacking in setting or plot or action, introduce something that changes the mood - you're a writer, create!
+ Proper grammar, please. Don't forget the little things:"Put dialogue in quotations" and a period at the end of each sentence. Proofread your post out loud before you post it.
+ If you are going on vacation, and you know it ahead of time, be courteous and IM your co-writers ahead of time.
+ And lastly - have fun, or else...
