OOC (Out-Of-Character) RULES
1. If you join just for the hell of it but are not intending to participate; consider your account deleted. Don't even bother.
2. No advertising for other sites on our boards, unless you get permission from the administration. You may advertise your OWN personal site in your PROFILE.
3. If you receive a message from me stating something you have done wrong, please do not complain and make up excuses. Just deal with it, as that’s all I'm asking you to do.
4 Respect all the members out of character, even if you don't get along. All In Character rivalries are just that... IN CHARACTER. Don't take them out of character as well.
5. If you have a problem with someone or something on the site, send administration a private message about it. There is no need to make it public, as that doesn't help any.
IC (In-Character) RULES
6. This world takes place during a medieval-like time; so your character cannot have anything modern, like a gun or car.
7. Cursing is only allowed in roleplay, but minimum.
8. Kissing, hugging, romance is allowed and, in fact, makes some roleplays a lot better. However, keep it clean
9. You cannot kill another character unless they agree to it. It is only fair, since people work hard to create their characters.
10. Use correct punctuation, capitalization, spelling, grammar, etc...
11. If you are a part of a roleplay, STICK WITH IT. Inactivation might result in the gods (aka me) killing your character in a freak-accident sort of way.
12. No god-moding. Your character can NOT enter the land being all-powerful, destroying everything, and being the best ever, unless they have a few real weaknesses and are well-rounded. You MUST get the okay from ME before you post a potential god-character. If done properly, these characters can add spice to a roleplay and challenge devoted writers.
CHARACTER PROFILES
13. Character Profile boards are for Character Profiles ONLY. They are for keeping track of information, not for chatting. Move all OOC Chat to the General Board, thanks!
14. Respect the Profile Inspectors. If they send you an IM saying there is something not legit with your profile, respond with respect and try to fix what they suggested you fix. You may not begin roleplaying until your profile has been approved. You will get an IM from the admin to confirm your character.
NPCs (Non-Playable Characters)
15. NPCs are allowed, but keep in mind that these characters can be controlled by anyone! NPC are all characters who have not been properly registered with a profile. Do not create a profile for an NPC unless you have talked with me and received an okay.
JOINING AN RPG ALREADY IN PROGRESS
16. If you so desire to join an RPG that is already in progress, you must send IMs to every author of that RPG and the Moderator of that RPG (aka me). Every author must agree to your proposal.
WANT TO BEGIN A NEW RPG?
17. If you are interested in starting a new role play, please feel free to advertise your intent on the general forum boards! The minimum requirement for beginning a new RPG is two devoted people. Then notify administration (me) and I will get you started!!
CREATING YOUR CHARACTER
18. Your options when creating a character are virtually endless. Have some fun. But please keep the following in mind when you register a character:
- The first thing you create when making your character might not necessarily be the name. However, when choosing a name, make sure there is a first, and a last.
- This world takes place during a medieval-like time; therefore, your character cannot have a gun or anything modern, such as a car.
- Have at least your first character the same gender as you. If you find this rule to be unfair, please keep your comments to yourself.
- Your Character(s) should have a balance between weaknesses and strengths.
- Only one character can be created per account, unless given permission otherwise. And if you are up for the task, I am usually very reasonable.
*These rules can at any time be changed or modified. I will always inform you of a switch, and unless you complain about any changes it is a sign that you accept the new rules.
